在曼谷的歐式大宅內嘆下午茶 Afternoon Tea at an Europe Villa in Bangkok

提到吃喝玩樂, 曼谷通常都會榜上有名。Bangkok is always a place on the priority list when thinking about places for tours, eat & fun.

先前, 到曼谷短遊數天, 順道去試試朋友介紹, 位於Thong Lo區的Audrey Cafe.
When visiting Bangkok for a few days previously, I have gone to the Audrey Cafe in Thong Lo District as per recommendation from friends.

Thong Lo區有不少高尚住宅，有大廈服務式住宅，更有兩、三層高的花園洋房，而Audrey Cafe就是位於其中的歐陸式大宅內。There were lots of luxury residential premises in Thong Lo District:  serviced apartments on high risers as well as 2 to 3-storey villas.  Audrey Cafe was housed in one of these European style villas.

步進Audrey Cafe, 先會經過它的花園, 園來設有露天茶座, 亦有音響設備, 晚上可以有live band表演, 進入大屋, 都會被它那雅致的裝修所吸引。餐廳裝修以米白色為主, 樓底頗高, 大廳掛了簡潔而優雅的吊燈；餐廳分地面及閣樓兩層, 地面有優閒的梳化位及方便用膳的餐桌位一層, 沿邊有一列玻璃窗, 讓窗外的綠化環境及陽光滲入, 閣樓的座位也很舒適, 倚着雕花欄杆可望到地面的入口及梳化位, 閣樓更可間成小房, 我到訪的那天,就是有客人包了閣樓的一間大房開生日會。We first passed through its small garden when going into Audrey Cafe.  Alfresco seats were sets in the garden.  There were band equipment for live music performance in the evening.  When entering the Cafe indoor area, we were amazed by the beautiful decoration.  The ambience was relax in cream white colour.  The ceiling was high with a few simple chandeliers.  The Cafe was having the ground floor and a mezzanine floor.  There were sofa seats and seats with dining tables.  The series of large windows allowed the green and sunlight to seep into the Cafe.  Seats on the mezzanine floor was also very comfortable.  The mezzanine floor could also be partitioned into rooms for private functions. On the day of our visit, one of the rooms was occupied for birthday party.


餐廳真的頗受歡迎, 而服務也很好,我們大約下午4時到達喝下午茶,經理很有禮貌地表示那天晚餐的預訂已滿，所以給我們的坐位只能提供至6時，希望我們不介意。其實喝個下午茶，有兩小時已經綽綽有餘了。Audrey Cafe was very popular but they kept a good service standard.  We arrived at around 4pm, intending to enjoy afternoon tea.  The manager told us very politely that they were fully booked for dinner that day and hence, could only serve our table till 6pm, hoping that we would not mind this.  In fact, for an afternoon tea, two hours were already more than enough.

我們點了香料磨菇黑松露醬法包及溫哩拿窩夫，再配上伯爵茶及香濃咖啡，已經令這個下午茶吃得很滿足了。
We have ordered the Champignon Paste in Truffle Oil with French Bread as well as the Vanilla Waffle.  Together with Earl Grey tea and the aroma coffee, we have enjoyed a very satisfactory afternoon tea at Audrey Cafe.




在入口大堂中央陣列了很多Audrey Cafe的出品，有曲奇、朱古力、果醬、茶葉等等，包裝精美，可以挑選作送禮或自用。In the foyer at entrance, there was a table display of the Cafe's products, including cookies, chocolate, jam, tea, etc.  All were packaged very nicely; suitable for both as gifts or mementos for ourselves.
